When Jayam Ravi teamed up with Hansika Motwani last time, sparks flew on screen, as their chemistry was loved by one and all in Engeyum Kadhal. The hit jodi is back again with yet another romantic flick, Romeo Juliet. After revealing a naughty teaser, the makers are back with the making video of a fast paced dance number, Dandanakka, sung by musical sensation Anirudh Ravichander to D Immam's music and Rokesh's words.
I took a sneak peak into the making of song and this is what I loved about it:
The making video takes you into the recording studio where singer Anirudh, who had stunned everyone with Merasalaayitten song from I, being greeted by sharply dressed lyricist Rokesh. It is the same lyricist who wrote the extremely catchy song, Danga Maari, from Dhanush's Anegan. And if you have heard that song, you can expect what to hear from the quirky lyricist. The song Dandanakka is a tribute of T Rajender aka TR, famous for his rhyming dialogues in his films. The song, composed by D Immam, has great tempo and Anirudh's free style singing adds lot of flavour to the quirky song. The portions where Rokesh explains the meaning of the lyrics to Anirudh are hilarious. Also, watch out for TR's speech interspersed in the middle of the song, which will leave you in splits.
