The romantic thriller deals with an interesting subject, raising curiousity
After giving three back to back hits with Veedu Theda, Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya, Nikhil Siddhartha is back with yet another interesting film. The young actor stars in Karthick Ghatamaneni's Surya Vs Surya along with debutant Tridha Choudhury. Yesteryear actress Madhu and character artist Tanikella Bharani play pivotal roles in the film too.
I took a quick sneak peak into the trailer and this is what I thought of it:
The movie starts of at a very interesting note and sets the tone for a racy thriller. Nikhil Siddhartha plays Surya, a guy suffering from a rare skin disorder Porphyria, which prevents him from having any contact from sunlight. So Surya wakes up only after the sun sets and night is the only time he is allowed to go out. The film has been titled cleverly as Surya vs Surya, highlighting Nikhil's struggle against the sun. It is great to see talented Madhu back in films, as she plays Nikhil's mother. The majority of the film seems to be shot at night and the night life is brilliantly captured on camera.
