She got married to Suriya in 2006. And by end of 2007, she bid adieu to cine world to concentrate on her married life. She has two sons and a doting husband. Though Jyothika led a happy life, her fans mourned the loss of another talented actress due to marriage.
But 2015 brought great news to Tamil movie buffs, as it marked the comeback of Jyothika into Tamil cinema. And what better film to return from exile than the Tamil remake of How Old Are You, which deals with the dreams and aspirations of middle aged family woman. After enthralling the viewers with a breezy teaser, the makers are back with the trailer of 36 Vayadhinile. I took a sneak peek into the trailer and here's what I thought of it:
36 Vayadhinile trailer starts off at a light note, where we see Jo trying to hide her premature greying of hair. Soon, things take a serious turn when the society including her husband and daughter perceive her as middle aged woman who has no purpose in life. Soon circumstances push her to follow her dreams and prove that it is never to late to chase your dreams. Director Jeethu Joseph and Jyothika are all set to prove that age is just a number. Nothing ha changed in Jo's performance even after being away from camera for more than 7 years.
