Rajinikanth-Sonakshi Sinha- Anushka Shetty starrer Lingaa has finally hit over 3000 screens worldwide on Thalaivar's birthday. But still there are many Rajini maniacs who haven't been as lucky as me to catch Lingaa on the opening day. Rajini's comeback to silver screen after Enthiran is being loved by and all, and to those who are sulking looking at the houseful boards on most cinema halls, cheer up, as I bring you a spoiler free detail of 5 most memorable moments from Thalaivar's Lingaa. Brilliantly choreographed and incredibly captured train fight scene, which introduces Rajinikanth's British collector character is one of the epic scenes from the film. The high octane action sequence features Thalaivar bashing the rebels with a cricket bat, getting rid of his over coat in some style which only he can. His dialogue "Lets Begin" is sure to attain cult status, as the fans responded to this Rajini punch line with thundering claps and whistles. The chase sequence on train rooftop mildly reminds you of popular mobile game Temple Run. But unlike the game, Thalaivar bashes whatever comes in front of him. Mona Gasolina song

The song is perhaps the most popular number from AR Rahman's Lingaa album. Featured on Rajini and Anushka, the song has been interestingly shot focusing on three different backdrops - pirate ship, cowboy western style and futuristic spaceship. Apart from energy infusing vocals and some amazing musical variations, both Rajini and Anushka seem to be having a blast in the song and look extremely comfortable romancing each other onscreen. Thalaivar's child like enthusiasm in the song will leave you awestruck.

Patriotism speech

Imagine this. The work of building the dam comes to an abrupt halt as the villagers of various castes refuse to mingle and work together for the uplifting of village. Seeing this state of the dam project and inequalities prevalent in the society, only a Rajinikanth speech on being Indian can sets things right. Superstar's spirited speech about being Indian infuses patriotism not only in the hearts of villagers, but also in the hearts of viewers.

Rajinikanth humliation scene

One of the stand out scenes in the film is when the villagers misunderstand Rajini, due to devious plotting of Britishers and ask him to leave the village. This scene shot in pouring rain on top of a dam sets the perfect tone for Rajini's smiling expression as he takes in abuses from the villagers. Superstar owns the scene by humbly accepting the mistake that wasn't his and accepts the decision of masses by leaving the village.

Hot air balloon climax

One word to define this climax scene from Lingaa is epic. Catering to the wishes of die hard Rajini fans, KS Ravikumar dishes out an inhuman stunt which can be performed only by Rajinikanth. In the climax Rajinikanth jumps from the cliff with the motor bike and lands on a far off hot air balloon where villain and Anushka are present. Not only he fights off the villain, he also catches hold of Anushka who is falling and kicks away the time bomb in to the water body. thus making sure there is no damage to the dam nor him. Now that's what we call Rajini style.
