Rumours are flying thick and fast that Thala Ajith will be playing a 20 year old for Menon's next film
Kollywood has not stopped buzzing ever since two stalwarts of Tamil cinema - Thala Ajith and director Gautham Menon had teamed up for a film. The untitled project recently grabbed headlines as the Ajith-Gautham Menon movie had supposedly halted the Simbu-Gautham Menon film's shooting. And now we hear some more intriguing stuff about the film, being discussed in hushed whispers in gossip circles. The little birdie tells that superstar Ajith Kumar is going to play a 20-year old in the Gautham Menon film. The 43-year old actor is said to be undergoing rigourous training to get into a younger man's frame. A source close to the film unit said, "The story will revolve around Ajith's character and the events that take place in his life from the time he is in his twenties till the time he is in his forties. Thala Ajith's 55th film has two leading ladies Trisha and Anushka Shetty. Grapevine has it that both heroines will not be sharing screen space as each one would pair with Ajith's character at different stages of his life. The film is currently being shot in Malaysia with Ajith and Anushka Shetty.
