Alia Bhatt is at the top of her game and there are no two ways about it. The actress is currently having one of the busiest years and for all the good reasons. After juggling the huge success of Gully Boy, Kalank and the shoot of Brahmastra, the stunner even has an interesting line-up of films, which includes SS Rajamouli's magnum opus titled RRR. Of course, fans (including us) are thrilled to say the least. It, reportedly, will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore.
The film stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles and is touted to be a patriotic action-drama. Alia Bhatt is playing Sita who will be seen romancing Charan in the plot which the director announced recently at a press conference in Hyderabad. The initial schedules of RRR in Hyderabad have been wrapped up and the crew will now head to Delhi and other places for further schedules. And according to latest reports, Alia will join Ram Charan and Jr NTR in Delhi and begin shooting for her portions in the film.

While that is that, Alia has now opened up about how she cut herself a ticket in the South and bagged a role in the ambitious project. Making no qualms about it, in an interview with PTI, she revealed "I had bumped into Rajamouli sir at an airport and I begged him that whatever part he has (for me) I will do it. That time he had not cast for the girl yet." She further added, "He said he was anyway talking about my timelines. So I told him whatever be the timelines, I will make it happen. We made it happen." Wonder how many A-listers can still do that!
Talking about the status of the South debut, Alia had said, "I am prepping for it." When asked about learning Telugu for RRR, she had replied, "It's tough, but I think I'll be good at it. I am having fun." She had also expressed her happiness of working with a blockbuster filmmaker like SS Rajamouli and had added, "He was on my bucket list of directors. Not only because of Baahubali, of course, that was a very big factor but also because of his imagination. Right from Magadheera to Eega, these concepts are simply mind-blowing. He is truly an artist and understands his audience, the people he is making the film for. His emotions and story are so powerful, likewise with RRR, he has a very powerful story to tell."
