After scoring a hit with Magamuni, Arya will now join hands with Pa Ranjith for his next project. The film is yet to be titled and will have Arya playing a boxer in the plot. And prepping for his role, Arya will bulk up for the role to look like a boxer in the film. And as any Ranjith film, this one too would be set in the semi-urban areas of Chennai and will have Arya in the central character. "Arya and Ranjith have been in talks for a long time and have finally locked this script. It's a sports-based film, and revolves around boxing. Arya will be playing a boxer in the film, which will mostly be shot in and around Chennai.The team is being finalised now, and they will begin shooting from November," Times of India quoted a source as saying. Looks like Ranjith is planning yet another intense drama with Arya in the lead role. Speaking about Arya, the actor will be next seen in Kaappaan which stars Suriya in the lead role. Directed by KV Anand, Arya will be seen playing a minister and will be the antagonist in the plot. The trailer of the film was released recently and the film seems like a complete action entertainer. Suriya plays a commando in the plot who is on a mission to protect the Prime Minister which is played by Malayalam star actor Mohanlal. Arya's wife Sayyeshaa will be seen playing the leading in Kaappaan and is seen in the trailer of the film. Watch it right here ICYMI... Interestingly, Arya and Sayeeshaa got married right after the shooting of Kaappaan. The two met first on the sets of their film Ghajinikanth which was a remake of Telugu film Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. Cupid stuck between the couple during the shoot and soon they took their relationship to next level.
