In the past few days, we saw citizens and celebs expressing their opinion on CAA and its protests and the latest one to join them was megastar Thalaivar Rajinikanth. The 69-year-old star yesterday opined about the ongoing protest and wrote on Twitter in Tamil, which means, "Violence should not be the solution for the problems and that citizens must stand united". But later we saw, his opinion started getting a mixed response from the citizens. While people agreed to his point about not doing violence but a certain section of audience criticized him for not being clear about the CAA. We saw two opposite hashtag #IStandWithRajinikanth and #ShameOnYouSanghiRajini trending on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth recently started the shooting of Thalaivar 168. The film is directed by Siruthai Siva and features Keerthy Suresh in a key role. So, what are your thought on Rajinikanth's views on CAA Protests? Tweet to us @bollywood_life.
