Chennai Box Office: Arun Vijay's Thadam and Oviya-starrer 90 ML stay at the top

Last Friday saw the release of interesting films in Tamil and all these releases are doing well at the box office. At the first place is the action-thriller Thadam and the second place is taken up by 90ML. The Arun Vijay-starrer has emerged as the winner at the box office as it tops the charts in terms of the collections till Sunday. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Thadam has the actor playing a dual role. Oviya-starrer 90 ML stands second and continues to clock decent numbers at the box office. Despite mixed reviews, 90 ML stands second at the box office in Chennai. Meanwhile, RJ Balaji-starrer LKG is leaving the audience with its rib-tickling screenplay and is receiving great response. Directed by Prabhu, LKG stands at the third position in Chennai at the box office. Bollywood flick Luka Chuppi starring Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon stands at the fourth position at the ticket windows in Chennai and is giving a tough run to other Tamil releases. Standing at the fifth place is director Cheran’s Thirumanam which received a luke warm response from the audience. Directed by Cheran himself, the film is touted to be an intense drama. Besides these five releases, other films like Viswasam and Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 are still having a great run at the box office. Malayalam film Kumbalangi Nights starring Fahadh Faasil, Soubin Shahir and others too is doing great at the box office along with critical acclaim.
