Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj has become of the top directors in recent times as he delivered three blockbusters in a row. After making a successful directorial debut with Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Madhusudhan Rao and Charle starrer Maanagaram, he gave money-spinners with Karthi's Kaithi and Thalapathy Vijay-Vijay Sethupathi's Master, which earned over Rs 100 crore and Rs 200 crore at the global box office. The latter was produced by Xavier Britto of XB Creators in association with Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio and Jagdish.

While the filmmaker is currently busy with Kamal Haasan's Vikram, the latest reports suggest that he is in talks with the 'Prince of Tollywood' Mahesh Babu for his next. In fact, the handsome hunk is already impressed with the narration and we can expect a major development in the upcoming days. Well, this combo will definitely set new benchmarks at the box office. Talking about Vikram, it is produced by the actor under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who earlier collaborated with Kamal Haasaan and Lokesh Kanagaraj for Indian 2 and Master respectively. The cinematography of the film will be done by Sathyan Sooryan and the editing department will be handled by Philomin Raj.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu will be seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata is expected to be a family entertainer.
