What is with people honestly! On Monday night, popular actor Thala Ajith aka Ajith Kumar faced a threat bomb call. No, don't worry, it turned out to be a hoax call. This is not the first time that the Vedalam actor has received such a call though. If you recall, Thala Ajith had received a similar bomb threat call back in June 2020 as well. Talking about the recent threat call, as per the media reports, the Chennai city police control room took immediate action upon receiving the threat call. The Vivegam actor lives in Injambakkam city in Chennai.
Soon after the threat call, the policemen reached his house with the dog squad and carried out a thorough search of the house. However, they did not find anything. Next, the police decided to trace the caller and his identity. They learned that the call was placed by a mentally unstable boy living in Chennai.
And guess what, the reports also state that the same boy has previously made similar calls to Rajinikanth and Vijay. The veteran actor Rajinikanth when learned about his special condition had offered to help him with his studies. The reports reveal that the parents of the boy were asked to not provide him with a phone. However, they are clueless as to how the boy got hold of the phone this time around.
The previous case of the threat call for Ajith came from a resident of Villupuram district. The man was arrested back then and a case was registered under the respective sections.
Meanwhile, Thala Ajith has Boney Kapoor produced, Valimai in the pipeline. Fans of the star have been waiting to get a glimpse of the actor from the movie but the filming has been postponed for some time. Fans have been enraged at the same. Seeing the ruckus created by fans at an event for another movie, Thala Ajith had expressed his disappointment. "Greetings to my fans and people who have always shown love to me and my films. In the last few days, few people claiming to be my fans have been asking for a Valimai update in cricket stadiums, political events and other public venues, I am deeply disappointed with this behaviour. As announced earlier updates about the film will come when the time is right. I am in talks with the producers to announce the updates. Please be patient until then. Cinema is entertainment for you, but it’s a profession for me. I request my fans to be patient and conduct themselves decently in the public domain. I hope people who love me will behave accordingly," the statement had read.
