In the last few years, we have seen the south industry exploring the genre of gangster dramas like Vada Chennai, Kaala, Vikram Vedha and many more. And the latest offer from the Tamil cinema is Gangs of Madras, which is directed by Maayavan helmer CV Kumar. Talking about the promo, it shows the power struggle between the two gangs in Chennai.

In the start of the promo, we see the lead protagonist Priyanka Ruth says, “If I get hungry, I need to feed myself. Likewise, if something should happen to me, I should stand up for myself and I will.” And well with this powerful dialogue, the teaser takes a powerful beginning and showcases how underworld revolves around war, violence and darkness.
The film also stars Daniel Balaji, Ashok, Velu Prabhakaran, Naren and Bagavathy Perumal in key roles. It is produced under the banner of Thirukumaran Entertainment. The hard-hitting background score by Hari Dafusia adds the perfect punch to the teaser.
