Sandeep Madhav's George Reddy has released today. The film is about discrimination in educational institutions and student politics. Almost everyone is unanimous in saying that Sandeep has done a wonderful job. The other actors like Chaitanya and Satyadev have also done well. On the technical front, a lot of praise is coming in for Sudhakar Yakkanti, who has recreated the retro era. Suresh Bobbili's music is also great. There is a blade fight that is also getting immense appreciation. But the climax, lack of conflict and slipshod narration is a problem. Here is what Twitter is saying about George Reddy.

Watched #GeorgeReddy at Asian Laxmikala, Moosapet last night. Disappointed. The makers claims it's a fictional story of George Reddy. Missing the emotional connectivity. pic.twitter.com/P1mlYsbdSG

The film is based in Hyderabad's famous Osmania University. It is on the life of George Reddy, a physics research student who died at the age of 25 killed by the opposition in a student hostel. The Progressive Democratic Students Union was formed after his death. He is still remembered for his ideas on equality and liberalism.
