The first look of Pandiraj's children's film is out
While Suriya the actor is making buzz in the industry for his films Masss and 24, the superstar has also donned the producer’s hat recently. His production house 2D Entertainment is basking in the success of its first production venture, Jyothika’s comeback film 36 Vayadhinile.
Suriya’s 2D Entertainment is also backing Pandiraj’s Haiku, third film in children’s film trilogy after Marina and Pasanga. The Anjaan actor is also playing a cameo in the film along with Amala Paul. It is said that Suriya plays a social activist and Amala Paul plays a teacher in the film. The first look teaser of Suriya's Haiku is out and this what I thought of it:
Pandiraj takes you through a collage of emotions and expressions which kids show in day to day life. After making a cute start to the teaser, the filmmaker unleashes Suriya in a highly candid avatar. We see Suriya impersonating a dinosaur while he plays with a bunch of kids. The teaser doesn't show Amala Paul in it. Also the story of the film is not revealed in the trailer. The teaser reminded me of Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par and I wonder if Suriya will be following Aamir's footsteps in Haiku. But going by the first look of Haiku, it looks like Suriya is all set to present a super cute, family film for audiences to enjoy.
