A few days ago, Allu Arjun announced three films in a gap of two days which includes ICON with director Venu Sriram. The film will be produced by Dil Raju and will go on shooting floors once Allu Arjun wraps his project with Trivikram Srinivas. Amidst all this, reports were doing rounds that ICON could be a remake of a Fillipano film, which is a super hit. However, according to latest reports, the story could be different and is not a remake. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, ICON is not a remake and will be an original story. Apparently, the story of the film will revolve around a bike which Allu Arjun loses in unusual circumstances.
"The film's poster depicts Allu Arjun riding a bike, and for good reason. The story revolves around the bike. Basically, Allu Arjun ends up losing his bike and reports it in a police station, but they ask him to file the complaint at another police station. The officers at the next police station, too, throw excuses at him and ask him to report to another one. An exasperated Allu Arjun decides to teach a lesson to the cops, and begins to play mind games with them," a source was quoted by Deccan Chronicle.
Reportedly, Allu Arjun is quite excited about this project and is looking forward to beginning work on it. "The actor seems enthralled by the subject. Venu Sriram is currently working on improving the second half of the script," the report added further.
Before ICON, Allu Arjun will wrap up the shooting of Trivikram Srinivas film which was announced recently. The yet untitled project will be the actor-director duo's third collaboration after Julaayi and S/O Satyamurthy. Arjun was last seen in Naa Peru Surya which had the actor playing an Indian Army soldier with anger management issues. The film couldn't impress the audience and turned out to be an average affair at the box office.
