After shattering records with Vada Chennai in the last year, director Vetri Maaran and Dhanush are collaborating again the upcoming venture titled Asuran. While we were jumping with joy as the hit jodi is reuniting along with composer GV Prakash, the makers made a new announcement, which raised our excitement to the new level. Actor Dhanush announced that actress Manju Warrier will play the female lead in the Tamil film. The actor tweeted, "#asuran - update .. the evergreen Manju Warrier will be playing the female lead. Watching both the talented stars in the single frame will be a treat for the cinegoers. The actor yesterday revealed that the film will go on floors from January 26 during the Republic Day.
