Jyothika will be sharing screen space with her brother-in-law Karthi for the first time now which will be directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film is yet to be titled and is said to be a light-hearted entertainer. And according to latest developments, the shooting of the film has now been wrapped up. Cinematographer RD Rajasekhar took to his Twitter page and posted a picture with Karthi and revealed that the shooting has been wrapped up. According to latest reports, the film may be released in August or September this year. The film is yet to be titled and will also feature of a lot of other stars from Tamil cinema.

News has it that Karthi would be seen playing Jyothika's brother in the plot. According to a popular Tamil website, Jyothika would be seen playing a caring elder sister to Karthi in this yet untitled film. Fans of the star couple, Suriya and Jyothika, would have loved to see them together, they will be happy seeing Karthi working with his sister-in-law too.
Karthi was last seen in Dev which was directed by Rajat Ravi Shankar. The film couldn’t impress the audience and failed to create any impact at the box office. Dev also stars Rakul Preet as the leading lady and was her second film with Karthi.
On the other hand, Jyothika was last seen in just released Ratchasi which is an emotional drama. Directed by Sy Gowtamraj, Ratchasi had the Kaakha Kaakha actress playing a government school teacher who is trying to bring reformation in the system. The film is receiving great response from audience and critics and is having a decent run at the box office.
