Celebrities of Tamil film industry lined up to pay homage to the veteran filmmaker who passed away two days ago
Veteran director Rama Narayanan, who passed away due to cardiac arrest couple of days ago, is perhaps one of the most respected and loved filmmaker of Kollywood. It was the respect that he holds in the industry that made the K-town celebs to flock to pay their homage to the legendary filmmaker.
His body was flown from Singapore for the last rites. This gave the opportunity for film stars and politicians alike to offer their condolences to Rama Narayanan's family and see their beloved director for one last time. DMK patriach M Karunanidhi and his son MK Stalin were present in the mourning and so were many Tamil celebs like musical maestro Ilaiyaraaja, directors P Vasu and Ameer Sultan, actor Sathyaraj and his son Sibiraj, yesteryear actor Sivakumar, veteran actor Nasser, director Sundar C and his wife Khusboo, comic actor Kovai Sarla, comedians like Senthil,Goundamani,Ganja Karuppu and Mailsamy, dance choregrapher Kala, actor Udhayanidhi Stalin and Power star Dr Srinivasan.
