Recently, BollywoodLife got a golden opportunity to have a heart-to-heart with one of the South film industry's most popular and accomplished actresses, Keerthy Suresh — something we, as Bollywood news media, get scant chances to explore. However, owing to lockdown and the fact that films of A-listers are releasing directly on OTT, with Keerthy's Tamil-Telugu bilingual Penguin being one of them, it was a rare moment to conduct an exclusive interview with the National Award winner, and credit to her candour and magnanimity, the lady opened up on a range of topic beside her digital release, including her next mega film, Annaatthe, with none other than Superstar Rajinikanth.
Opening up on Rajinikanth's Annaatthe, Keerthy Suresh said, "The shoot of the film is pending. I don't think I can talk about much about it right now because there's a long way to go. So, let's talk about this a little later." Upon probing her further about her role in the hope of getting something from the star, she added, "Yes, I'm playing the lead role...it's a lead role."
After hearing that we asked her if it's safe to assume that the other three heroines in the film, Meena, Khushboo (who's making a comeback to a full-fledged roles nine years after Kalaignarin Ilaignan) and Lady Superstar Nayanthara, are in supporting roles to which Keerthy disclosed, "Oh, my God (laughs)! The movies revolves around a sibling relationship and they are playing other characters in it."
Keerthy did reveal what's her part in the sibling relationship, but since she opened up to us as her fan, she also requested that we keep it under the lid for now as she has revealed it to us personally, and wouldn't want it to go out so soon, considering major portions of the film are yet to be shot.
