Madhavan's comeback film to Kollywood is expected to hit the screens next year
Madhavan or Maddy, as he’s affectionately called, is back in Tamil cinema after a gap of two years. His last film directed by N Lingusamy released in 2012 opened to mixed reviews and did average business at the box office.
Maddy is now shooting for Irudhi Suttru (Second Round) directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and produced by C V Kumar and Sashikanth. In this film, which will be released in Hindi and in Tamil, the actor plays a boxing coach. The talented actor has been working hard on a rigorous regime in Los Angeles to get into shape to play the role of the boxer.
The second schedule of the film has started and apparently the filmmakers are heading north for the shoot. Maddy hasn’t been too lucky with his Tamil films over the last few years. Irudhi Suttru is set to release early ion 2015. Here’s hoping Irudhi Suttru really gives Maddy a second lease of life in Tamil cinema.
