Veteran Malayalam actor and filmmaker Sreenivasan was on ventilator support for the last couple of days after his health deteriorated due to heart ailment. Sreenivasan was admitted to the Ernakulam Medical Center after he complained of breathing problems. Soon after being admitted, he was put on ventilator support and his condition was said to be critical, according to the hospital. And now, the actor-filmmaker has been taken off ventilator and his condition is said to be stable. The hospital authorities have released a statement and said that he is now out of danger and his condition is now better. "The condition is much better today and it is expected that he will be moved from the ICU to a room in 24 hours," Ernakulam Medical Center PR Radhakrishnan was quoted as saying by TNM. Authorities also said that Sreenivasan has spoken with his family who have now heaved a sigh of relief.
Sreenivasan is a veteran actor and filmmaker in Malayalam cinema and has worked with all the stars including Mohanlal and Mammootty. Sreenivasan is known for penning down stories which project problems we, as common people, face in daily life. He has been in films for more than three decades now. Sreenivasan's sons, Vineeth and Dhyan, both are into films and have made quite a few in Malayalam.
