The second wave of COVID-19 has hit the country and we saw many celebs getting contracted with the deadly virus, which included Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Ranbir Kapoor, SS Rajamouli and others. The latest celeb to test positive for COVID -19 is popular Kollywood director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The acclaimed filmmaker shared the news and his health update on Twitter, where he wrote, “Hello Everyone! Writing this to inform all my friends, family & well-wishers that I have tested positive for Cvoid-19 and have been admitted in a private hospital where I’m being taken good care of. Well, be back soon & stronger! (Sic).” Take a look at the tweet below:
Speaking about the filmmaker, he made his directorial debut with Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Madhusudhan Rao and Charle starrer Maanagaram, which was a box office success. Post that he delivered blockbusters with Karthi's Kaithi and Thalapathy Vijay-Vijay Sethupathi's Master, which earned over Rs 100 crore and Rs 200 crore at the global box office. The latter was produced by Xavier Britto of XB Creators in association with Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio and Jagdish.
The director is currently busy with Kamal Haasan's Vikram, which is produced by the actor under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who earlier collaborated with Kamal Haasaan and Lokesh Kanagaraj for Indian 2 and Master respectively.
