Tamil actor Mirchi Shiva was born on December 10, 1982
As the South star turns 30 today, he has plenty to celebrate. For one thing, how many radio jockeys get catapulted in a short time to stardom in the tough world of Kollywood! What’s more, this year he tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Priya.
Shiva has sure come a long way from his days at the Radio Mirchi station. His first cameo was in the 2001 film 12B. He then got a significant part in Venkat Prabhu’s comic caper Chennai 600028. His next was also by Venkat Prabhu – the hit thriller Saroja.
After this it was the spoof of Tamil cinema, Thamizh Padam, that Shiva did. In 2011 he saw the release of his romantic drama Pathinaaru. His most recent flick was Sundar C’s Kalakalappu, which went down well with audiences. And now he has a biggie, the remake of Thillu Mullu coming up. This Rajini classic is special and Shiva considers himself privileged indeed to have bagged it.
Here’s wishing the actor a very happy birthday.
