2015 started on a wrong note for South Indian film industries, as a number of veteran artists from Telugu and Malayalam film industries have passed awa. After the untimely demise of some veteran artist in Telugu film industry left Tollywood in great shock, it was Mollywood's turn to grieve as ace comedian Mala Arvindan passed away this morning.
He suffered a cardiac arrest January 19 and was hospitalised. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Coimbatore. As soon as the news broke Malayalam film stars started pouring in their homage to deceased actor. Here's what they had to say:

Mammooty, Prithviraj and Fahadh Fasil posted a picture of Mala Arvindan in their respective Facebook pages, saying," ആദരാഞ്ജലികള്", which means in memorian of the deceased.
Remembering his good friend, Innocent said,"I met him while I was staying in Chennai, trying my luck in films. At that time, he already was an actor. Years passed and we maintained very good relations. I feel his talent was not fully utilised.”
