A couple of days ago, news reports of the IT department raiding several studios surfaced on social media. The report suggested that the IT department had raided the prestigious Ramanaidu Studios along with several other celebrity houses down in the South. Among them was named superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. However, the South actor is quite surprised by the piece of news and claimed that no such thing ever occurred.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Nagarjuna said that he had been listening to this news for the first time. He wrote, "Quite a few of my friends Have been calling me and asking me if I had raid from the income tax department!! This is news to me no such raid has happened on me or my offices. FYI" Have a look at Nagarjuna's tweet here:
The reports also suggested that Suresh Babu's office and South actor Nani's office was raided by the IT department as well. We don't know if that's true or false.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna's character deets from Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra were revealed recently. A source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror, “Nagarjuna’s character, along with his students, undertakes an expedition to restore an ancient temple along the banks of the Ganga. “An important event leads, Shiva and Isha to Nagarjuna.” Mouni Roy and Saurav Gurjar, who play lead antagonists in the film also come in this crucial track. “The adventure kicks-off after all of them come face-to-face in Varanasi. A high-octane action sequence featuring them was shot earlier in the year.” Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan also plays a cameo in this film and despite being a guest's appearance, his role is important as it will take forward the journey of Shiva.
