Actress Nayanthara and Tamil star Suriya, together have some amazing films. And now the rumours mills are abuzz that these two could be paired again. Apparently, Sivakumar Jayakumar who is better known as Siruthai Siva recently announced that he would soon be collaborating with Suriya for his next. And speculations are rife that Nayanthara may star in the lead role.
The makers of the film have approached the actress. Nayanthara is yet to make the decision but it the actress expected to take the call in coming days. It is reported that if Nayanthara gives her nod to the script, then It will mark her fourth collaboration with Suriya. The two have delivered hits like Ghajini (2005), Aadhavan (2009) and Maasu Engira Maasilamani aka Masss (2015). The yet untitled film is Suriya's 38th film as an actor in the industry. The film will be produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara was last seen in Airaa, a Tamil horror film, helmed by KM Sarjun. It also starred Kalaiyasaran and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The movie featured Nayanthara in her first ever dual role. Airaa opened to mix reviews from the critics and was soon overshadowed by another woman-oriented but transgender film, Super Deluxe. Nayanthara also starred in Visawasam alongside Ajith Kumar who is better known as Thala Ajit. The film recently completed 100 days of its theatrical run time.
Taking recent reports into consideration, Nayanthara has quite a few movies in her kitty. The talented actress is all set to star in Vijay Babu's Thalapathy 63, which is a sports-drama film. She is also juggling her shoot with superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar as Thalapathy 63 is being shot in Chennai and Darbar in Mumbai. AR Murgadoss will don the director's hat for the film. The movie marks the first collaboration if Rajinikanth and the director.
The gorgeous actress also has a mystery thriller titled Kolaiyuthir Kaalam lined up. She will also feature in Sivakarthikeyan's Mr Local, a comedy. This will mark her second collaboration with the actor after Velaikkaran. Up next, Nayanthara has megastar Chiranjeevi's historical war-drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
On the other hand, Suriya has Selvaraghavan's NGK and KV Anand's Kaappan lined up for release. Currently, the actor is busy shooting for Sudha Kongara's Soorarai Pottru.
