Rumour has it that sequel to power star's hit film has been put on hold indefinitely
After tasting rollicking success with 2012 hit film Gabbar Singh, the makers had planned a sequel with Pawan Kalyan in the lead. It was reported power star will star filming for Gabbar Singh 2 once he is done shooting his part for Venkatesh-Shriya Saran starrer Gopala Gopala. But the little birdie has chirped to us that the Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh 2 has been shelved. If sources are to be believed, Pawan Kalyan was apparently not happy with the script and had asked the director to rewrite. Apparently Attarintiki Daredi star is still not impressed with the latest draft of the script and so the film has been called off. There has been no official confirmation from Pawan Kalyan or the producers of the film. Gabbar Singh was a Telugu adaptation of Salman Khan's Dabangg and there were speculations that power star did not want to make Gabbar Singh 2 on the lines of Dabangg 2. While it is confirmed that Pawan Kalyan will be playing the flute wielding deity in Gopala Gopala, will he don the shoes of the eccentric cop again with Gabbar Singh 2 remains to be seen.
