The wait of millions of Rajinikanth fans has been reduced by a couple of months. When the Superstar's Kochadaiyaan went on the floors last month, it was announced that the film would be released in November for Deepavali
Superstar Rajinikanth brings good news for his fans. His 3D film Kochadaiyaan was earlier scheduled to release on the occasion of Diwali. However, things are shaping up faster than expected and the release date has now been advanced to September. This has been confirmed by Mediaone Global Entertainment who are producing the mega budget flick. “The first phase of shooting of Rajinikanth's upcoming period film Kochaidaiyaan has been completed and the movie is slated for release in September this year,” Mediaone has said.
They added that the first schedule of shooting in London has been completed and shooting in India has commenced. Being directed by Rajini's younger daughter, Soundarya R Ashwin, Kochadaiyaan has music by A R Rahman while Deepika Padukone plays the female protagonist.
