The Rajinikanth-Sonakshi Sinha starrer is all set for December 12 release
It is raining money for superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa even before it's release. The movie is making all the right noise ahead of it's release thanks to some foot tapping tunes by AR Rahman, slick trailer and of course Thalaiva's magic. Distribution rights of Lingaa, directed by KS Ravikumar starring Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty, has been acquired by Eros International for a whopping sum of Rs 120 crore.
Now we hear that Eros is all set to mint some serious moolah. According to reports, Eros will earn around Rs 200 crore by distributing the satellite, theatrical and overseas rights of Lingaa. Eros will release Lingaa in Tamil,Telugu, Hindi and is also planning to release a special subtitled version of the film in Japan owing to Thalaiva's craze in Japan.

Audiences across the globe have been eagerly awaiting his first live action film after the blockbuster Robot and we are very excited to share the film worldwide," said an overjoyed Sunil Lulla, managing director, Eros International Media Ltd.
With the fan frenzy surrounding the film, we expect Rajini's Lingaa to set many box office records tumbling.
