Actor Ravi Teja will next team up with Okka Kshanam director Vi Anand and the project has been titled Disco Raja. The film was officially launched today in Hyderabad and the complete cast and crew of the film was present at the launch. Disco Raja will be produced by Ram Talluri and is the actor's first association with Vi Anand. The film will star RX 100 actress Payal Rajput as the leading lady and will have music by Thaman SS who has worked on many Ravi Teja films. The dialogues of the film have been penned by Abburi Ravi. Earlier, it was being speculated that the launch of the film may get delayed after there were reports that the script was being tweaked. It was being speculated that the story of Disco Raja was similar to another Telugu film which was in the making and the makers were contemplating changing the script. However, with the official launch being held today, all the air around these rumours has been cleared. Ravi Teja was last seen in Nela Ticket which was directed by Kalyan Krishna Kusarla. The film tanked at the box office after it failed to impress the audience. The actor has been going through a lean patch lately and hasn't had a hit for many years. With 2017 release Raja The Great, Ravi Teja was back in form but the streak got derailed again post Touch Chesi Chudu which turned out to be a dud.
