Samantha Akkineni to collaborate with Game Over director Ashwin Saravanan for her next?

Samantha Akkineni will be next seen in the remake of 96 along with Sharwanand. It is being directed by the Director of the original, C Prem Kumar, and is slated to be released in 2020

South actress Samantha Akkineni enjoyed a phenomenal year by delivering hits like Super Deluxe and Oh Baby at the box office. While we are waiting for her next project, the Telugu remake of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan starrer, 96, the actress has teamed up in the interim with Game Over and Maya Director Ashwin Saravanan for her upcoming project. A source close to the development told DT Next, “Ashwin recently met Samantha at her residence in Hyderabad and narrated the script. She loved it and immediately agreed to be part of it. However, she is yet to give him the dates. Meanwhile, Samantha is currently busy with the shooting of The Family Man 2. Talking about, the actress earlier said, "I am doing the series The Family Man, so I think that's my first step (towards the Hindi film industry). I enjoyed being a part of The Family Man a lot. I am very happy that season one got a lot of appreciation. I am enjoying working with the team of the show and I can't wait for a new set of audience to see my work." The release date of the series 'The Family Man 2', which went on floors in November, is yet to be announced.
