The makers of Vijay Sethupathi starrer Sanga Tamizhan have dropped the first look of the film and we must say Makkal Selvan's intriguing avatar as Messiah instantly grabs our attention. In the poster, we see Vijay Sethupathi stands tall in front as the leader and is surrounded by the localites. Bollywood star Ashutosh Rana is playing the lead antagonist in the film. The film is directed by Vijay Chander, who previously helmed Chiyaan Vikram starrer Sketch. It boasts the ensemble star cast of Raashi Khanna, Nivetha Pethuraj, Nasser, Soori, John Vijay, Mottai Rajendran, Seeman and Marimuthu. The film which went on floors on March 4 has been shot in Chennai and Madras. Produced by Vijaya Productions, the music of the film is composed by Vivek Siva-Mervin Solomon.
Raashi Khanna, who portrays the character of a photographer in the film, praised Vijay Sethupathi and told The Hindu, "I’m a huge fan of (Vijay) Sethupathi’s work, and I was really nervous when I met him. On the sets, I always try to learn however much I can from him. He is very good with improvisation and constantly talks films. He is like a teacher."
Meanwhile, the actor will be next seen in megastar Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The film is reported to be a trilingual film which will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the film is made on a lavish budget of Rs 150 crore and also features Jagapati Babu, Kichcha Sudeep and Nayanthara in pivotal roles.
