Shruti Haasan is charging a whopping amount for Ravi Teja's film with Gopichand Malineni?

The film is yet to be officially announced by the makers and will go on floors once Ravi Teja wraps up Disco Raja which is being directed by Vi Anand.

Actor Ravi Teja has been going through a rough patch after most of his recent releases turning out to be a dud. The actor will now look to make a comeback with his next with director Gopichand Malineni with who he worked in Don Seenu. The film is yet to be officially announced by the makers and will go on floors once Ravi Teja wraps up Disco Raja which is being directed by Vi Anand. And according to latest reports, Shruti Haasan might have been brought onboard for the Gopichand Malineni directorial. Reports reveal that the director has approached Shruti and the actress has agreed in principal. However, the makers are still in discussion about the remuneration. According to emerging reports, Shruti Haasan is charging a whopping amount of Rs 1.5 crore for the film. However, these are unconfirmed reports and not an official confirmation from the makers. Shruti Haasan and Ravi Teja have already worked in Balupu which was directed by KS Ravindra. The film was a decent success and gave Ravi Teja a much needed hit. Shruti has been away from Telugu cinema for a long time and hasn't appeared in a while. The Balupu actress was last seen in Katamarayudu opposite Pawan Kalyan and hasn't acted in one since then. Speaking about Ravi Teja, the Mass Maharaj is struggling to find a hit now after most of his recent releases turning out to be disasters. The actor's last release Amar Akbar Anthony was a disappointing outing as the film did not have anything to entertain the audience. Ravi has now joined hands with director Vi Anand who gave hits like Okka Kshanam and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada. Titled Disco Raja, the shooting of the film is underway currently and is gearing up for release later this year.
