South box office prediction: Will Ram Gopal Varma's Lakshmi's NTR fare better than Balakrishna's NTR Mahanayakudu?

Ram Gopal Varma directorial Lakshmi's NTR is gearing up for release on March 29 and the film is expected to ruffle few feathers. The entertaining trailer and Ram Gopal Varma's bold statements have already created huge controversy around the film. According to the director, Lakshmi's NTR will showcase the unknown stories of NT Rama Rao’s life, which eventually dethroned the actor-turned-politician from the CM's position. Varma had said that NTR was betrayed by people he trusted the most and the film will bring to light all those disloyal incidents. Lakshmi's NTR is releasing after both the parts of NTR biopic, Mahanayakudu and Kathanayakudu, failed to impress the audience and eventually tanked at the box office. With suspense around what RGV will reveal in Lakshmi's NTR, predictions are that the film will fare better than the Balakrishna's NTR biopic. Going by the buzz around the film, cinema halls could run house-full in the initial days, giving a better performance than Balakrishna's version. Also, Lakshmi's NTR has had its own share of controversy after the CBFC board members refused to complete the censor formalities of the film.
