While the sexy seductress gears up for the release of her latest Bollywood flick, Ek Paheli...Leela, her dubbed films find many takers down South
2014 was clearly the year of Sunny Leone. After giving sleepless nights to many with her horrex film, Ragini MMS 2, she had successfully treaded down south, rocking the masses with her raunchy avatars in Tamil and Telugu films. If at all there was any doubt on Ms Leone's popularity in southern part of India, the overwhelming response to her Tamil and Telugu debut, made it clear that it is impossible to escape from Sunny magic.
Recently, the south film industries have witnessed good response for dubbed erotic flicks from Bollywood. After Zid's dubbed version doing well at the box office, distributors are eyeing Sunny Leone's previous films like Ragini MMS 2 and Jackpot, in an attempt to cash on Sunny's oomph factor. Apparently, a big line of distributors have showed interest in buying the dubbing rights for Sunny's previous as well as upcoming film Ek Paheli...Leela.
The general thought process in the industry is if her South films can do well just by her small cameos and item numbers, people would love to see Sunny Leone in more meatier roles. And, thus there is this hoard to acquire dubbing rights of Ms Leone's films. Dubbed films seem to be the way to keep the Sunny's sex appeal fresh in the minds of South Indian film fans, as the former adult star is now busy with a handful of B-town flicks like Ek Paheli...Leela, Mastizaade and One Night Stand.
