The Anjaan actor will reprise his cop role from the hit franchise
Tamil star Suriya is a busy man these days. The actor is currently engrossed in shooting of Venkat Prabhu's Masss which is making buzz in the industry. Also he is set to collaborate with Vikram Kumar of Manam fame for a film titled 24, after which he has given his dates to director Pandiraj for Haiku, which apparently is being produced by Suriya himself.
Now we hear that the Anjaan actor has given his consent to director Hari to go ahead with the next flick in Singam franchise, Singam 3. "Suriya and Hari have been in talks for Singam 3 since the success of the second part. They will start shooting soon after Suriya completes Vikram Kumar's 24," said a source close to the actor. The project is rumoured to go on floors by the end of this year.
While Anushka Shetty was cast opposite Suriya in Singam 1 and Singam 2, it would be interesting to see if director Hari ropes a new heroine for the third installment. Music director Anirudh Ravichander is expected to score the music for the film. Going by the tremendous success of music of Dhanush's VIP and Vijay's Kaththi, Suriya's Singam 3 is all set to become a musical chartbuster.
