Suriya and Sai Pallavi starrer NGK is one of the highly anticipated Tamil releases of the year. It has been in the news since its announcement and has faced many delays till now. The film is now set to hit the screens on May 31st and while we can't boast our excitement to watch this political thriller on the silver screen, the film has achieved a unique milestone as it became the first Tamil venture to release in South Korea.
Talking about NGK (Nanda Gopalan Kumaran). The film is directed by Dhanush's elder brother Selvaraghavan and is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures. The music of the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while the cinematography is done by Sivakumar Vijayan. The film was supposed to release last year but due to technical issues, it got delayed. The megastar will come on the silver screen after almost one-and-a-half-years post-Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. NGK also stars Rakul Preet in a key role.
Apart from NGK, Suriya will be seen in KV Anand's Kaappaan as well. The film also stars Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Hirani and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. The music of the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj, while it is bankrolled by Lyca Productions, who recently produced Rajinikanth's mega-budget venture 2.0. Kaappaan is expected to hit the screens in October this year.
