Tamannaah has been in the news lately for opening up about her relationship with alleged beau Virat Kohli and her on-screen kissing policy. The Baahubali actress will next be seen in the Telugu remake of Queen which is titled That is Mahalakshmi. The release date of the film is yet to be revealed but it is speculated that it may hit the screens in April this year. During 2015-2017, Tamannaah was going through a lean patch in her career and wasn't finding success in any industry. But Rajamouli helped her revive her career with Baahubali. In an interview with Filmfare, Tamannaah revealed that Baahubali happened at a time when her career was at a low point.
"Baahubali happened at that time when my career was sort of, I mean if I have to be honest, slightly at a low point. All the Hindi movies I did at the time, they were all really big films, but they did not work. And Rajamouli sir spoke to me about Baahubali. At that time they'd been shooting the film for a year and a half, I thought maybe it's like a special appearance. I met Raj sir, such a beautiful characterization. And I don't think we've had such a portrayal in Indian films. For Raj sir's vision and conviction he had for the film and for me, I will always be very thankful to him," Tamannaah said. She was seen playing Avantika in Baahubali and major role in the first part of the franchise.
