These are such trying times that we don't really know what's happening in the world right now. We have come across death news more than ever this week. And now we have heard that a South director AV Arun Prasath has passed away. It was a tragic accident that cost him his life. Reports say that he met with an accident in Mettupalayam in Coimbatore. He breathed his last today and his demise has come as a shock to his peers and everyone in the South industry.
For the unversed, he has worked with legendary director Shankar Shanmugham in many films. Arun worked with Shankar in Vikram starrer I. Shankar took to his social handle to express his disbelief over the demise of his ex-assistant. "Heartbroken by the sudden demise of the young director and my ex-assistant, Arun. You were always sweet, positive and hardworking. My prayers are forever with you and my deepest condolences to your family and friends.?" Have a look at Shankar Shanmugham's tweet here:
Arun made his debut with 4G which starred GV Prakash and Gayathri Suresh. The film was completed a couple of years ago but was delayed for unknown reasons. GV Prakash express his condolences in his mother tongue. His tweet closely translated to: "I am deeply saddened by the demise of my dear friend Venkat Pakkar, who always brims with positivity. My deep condolences to his friends and family members. I will pray to the almighty for his soul to rest in peace." Have a look at his tweet here:

4G was supposed to be the comeback of Suresh Menon in Tamil films but things didn't pan out it seems.
