Actor Theepetti Ganesan who worked in Tamil movies passed away due to cardiac issues. It seems he died at the Government Hospital in Madurai. As per reports, his health deteriorated since a week and he was admitted to the hospital. The late actor is survived by his wife and two children. As of now, there are no further details or statement shared by the actor's family. The news was shared on social media by filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy. He said that he is shocked and saddened to know about the death of Karthik aka Theepetti Ganesan.
He wrote on Twitter, "I was shocked to hear the demise of my brother Karthi aka Theepetti Ganesan at Rajaji Government Hospital in Madurai due to ill health. He was one of the best actors who acted in my films. My heartfelt condolences (sic)." It seems he was quite popular amongst Tamil audiences, and was known as a realistic actor. Theepetti Ganesan had films like Renigunta, Billa 2, Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Ustad Hotel, Neerparavai and Kanne Kalaimaane in his filmography.
But he did not get many film offers of late. It became tough for him to sustain his livelihood only through showbiz. He took up work in small-scale businesses. In the lockdown, he spoke of financial crunch and some people like Snehan helped him out. Seenu Ramasamy's Kanne Kalaimaane was his swansong.
