Since yesterday morning, reports have been doing rounds that a Telugu actor has met with an accident on the outskirts of Hyderabad after a car rammed into a wall. After few hours, it was confirmed by police officials that it is Telugu actor Raj Tarun who was involved in the accident. According to reports, Raj Tarun is said to have lost control of the vehicle he was driving and rammed into a wall on the Outer Ring Road of Hyderabad. Raj Tarun escaped the accident unhurt and fled the spot immediately. According to police officials, no casualties or injuries were reported from the accident. The car is registered in the name of a popular producer and businessman from Hyderabad.
According to various reports in media, family of Raj Tarun have denied the actor's involvement in the accident. But police officials claim that CCTV footage confirm his presence at the spot of accident. An official statement from the actor is waited from the actor's team. Accidents and injuries to Tollywood actors seem to have become a frequent thing these days. Recently, actor Sharwanand injured himself while shooting for his film Ranarangam. Actor Naga Shaurya too got hurt while shooting for an action sequence for his next untitled film. In Raj Tarun's case, the actor met with an accident while he was driving and escaped unhurt fortunately.
Raj Tarun was last seen in Lover which was a romantic entertainer. Directed by Annish Krishna, the film was a decent affair at the box office and was unlike any of the actor's previous films' success. Since this film, Raj Tarun hasn't signed any films and is said to be careful about his next project. The Rangula Ratnam actor may appear in a film produced by Dil Raju which is yet to be confirmed by the makers.
