Popular Kannada actor, Yash, who garnered pan-India stardom with KGF, has announced a donation of Rs 5,000 each to all the 3,000 cine workers who are affiliated with the 21 crafts of the Kannada film industry. Announcing the donation, Yash shared an emotional note, which reads, “Covid 19 has proved to be an invisible enemy that has dismantled the livelihoods of innumerable people across our country. Our own Kannada Film Fraternity has been badly affected as well. In light of the grave times we live in, to each of the 3000 odd members which include all the 21 departments of our film fraternity, I will be donating from my earnings, a sum of ₹5000 to their personal accounts. While I am very well aware that this may not serve as a solution to the loss and the pains caused by the situation we are in, it's a ray of hope, since it's HOPE that is the certainty of faith, Faith of better times."
KL Narayana opens about Mahesh Babu-SS Rajamouli film
While there were rumours that SS Rajamouli's film with Mahesh Babu will be a forest-based adventure, producer of the film KL Narayana has denied the news and said, “Superstar Mahesh Babu is ready to allot the dates for SS Rajamouli’s project. Eega helmer is also working on the story for his next with Mahesh Babu and the project will go on the floor after the director wraps up RRR. Rajamouli is presently busy with his magnum opus RRR and he is fully focused on the film.”
