Malayalam film Uyare starring Parvathy, Asif Ali and Tovino Thomas has released today and the film seems to have impressed the audience hugely. The story of Uyare is about an acid attack survivor who chooses to live life on her terms post the incident. Uyare is directed by Manu Ashokan while the script is penned by popular writer duo Bobby-Sanjay. Parvathy plays Pallavi whose ambition is to become a pilot in her career. But her life takes a serious turn after an unforeseen incident takes place. How things change for Pallavi and how she perceives to make her dream come true is the story of Uyare. Going by the audience’s reaction after the initial shows, it seems like Uyare has impressed them. Viewers feel that the film is inspiring and takes Malayalam cinema to next level. Tovino Thomas and Asif Ali play crucial roles in Uyara and the former is seen paired opposite Parvathy in the plot. The actress seems to have stolen the show in Uyara, going by the reaction from the audience. Known for delivering intense performances, Parvathy bags another hit in her career with Uyare.

Besides these three lead actors, Uyare also stars Siddique, Samyuktha Menon, Anarkali Marikar and Prathap Pothen in key roles. The film has music by Gopi Sundar who is having a dream run in South Indian cinema this year. Uyare is produced by Shenuga, Shegna and Sherga, the daughter trio of popular producer P. V. Gangadharan.
