It's the season of multi-starrers in South Indian cinema. After joining hands with Varun Tej for F2 – Fun & Frustration, Venkatesh will now team up with his nephew Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for another multi-starrer. The film has been titled Venky Mama and will be directed by Bobby aka KS Ravindra. Telugu movie buffs are quite excited about this multi-starrer since this is the first time that his uncle and nephew duo will be working together for a film. And also, it has been titled Venky Mama which is the reality as well. Although Venkatesh acted with Naga Chaitanya in Premam, it was just a brief appearance. Venky Mama will have Raashi Khanna playing the leading lady. The film will be bankrolled by Vivek Kuchibotla and Suresh Productions jointly. The film will go on the floors from February 24 but the makers are yet to confirm the release date.

While it is yet to be announced whom Raashi Khanna will be paired with, fans feel that she will be seen opposite Naga Chaitanya. Earlier, it was being reported that Rakul Preet has been signed on to play the leading lady. However, nothing was officially revealed. Another name that is doing the rounds is that of Kannada actress Nabha Natesh who debuted in Telugu with Duheer Babu’s Nannu Dochukunduvate. Speculations are rife that an official announcement about the leading ladies will be made soon.
