Want free movie tickets? Follow traffic rules, say Hyderabad cops
To bring and maintain discipline on the roads of Hyderabad, the traffic cops of the state have taken a unique initiative as they are distributing free movie tickets to the motorists, who following the guidelines and rules of traffic carefully and precisely. 30 PVR tickets were distributed to the motorists, who had no pending tickets of the traffic violation. These tickets can be redeemed by the motorists within 90 days and they can watch the films of their choice. Yesterday, the cops conducted the checks at Punjagutta circle and distributed the ticket to the motorists, who didn't have pending challan.
There’s a common complaint that we are only aiming at penalising the motorists. But they don’t understand the intent behind it. We are not here to make money, but to discourage them from violating rules. Through this initiative, we want to say that we don’t just penalise them for violating the rules, but also reward them for being a good motorist,” West Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Koteshwar Rao told TNM. Well, this indeed a great initiative and we hope, other states will follow this strategy soon.
We can also say that all the ticket winners must have booked Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's Saaho as it is the highly anticipated film of the year, which is set to hit the screens this Friday. It is shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu is made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore. Apart from Prabhas, the film features many Bollywood stars like Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Arun Vijay and Mahesh Manjrekar. The film is expected to take a record-breaking opening at the ticket windows. Saaho is directed by Sujeeth, who previously helmed Run Raja Run. So, are you planning to watch it?
