Women artists may get more posts in AMMA

The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) will ensure women get increased representation in its decision making, ending the male hegemony that was prevalent at the body, said an official and a top actor. "These are all suggestions that have come up in routine discussions and this will now be put before the annual general body meeting to be held soon. Since this is going to be a change from the existing by-laws, it would require amendment with the required support from the general body," said the actor.
