Varun Dhawan's Maddock horror-comedy Bhediya made Rs 68.99 crore at the box office, but on Saturday, Thamma surpassed that total. Before this, the movie had already surpassed Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which starred Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor and brought in Rs 60.35 crore in India.
