The third season of the supernatural drama, stars Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, Pearl V Puri in lead roles and Amrapali Gupta as the main antagonist. Following the events that took place in the second season, Shivangi dies without knowing why her father and husband betrayed her by plotting her murder. However, she is determined to take revenge. Elsewhere in an old Haveli, another Naagin Ruhi has gained the ability to shape-shift after hundred years of penance. Anticipating a union, she celebrates with her lover Vikrant. They are spotted by sons of some rich tycoons and in an inebriated state, they misbehave with her. Vikrant transforms into a snake to scare them off, but he gets shot by one of teh boys in the heat of the moment. Ruhi vows to avenge her lover's death. With Shivji's blessings, she performs a ritual and sheds off her skin.
