Aditya Narayan, who got married to his long-time girlfriend Shweta Agarwal on December 1, has opened up about their marriage and more in an interview to pinkvilla.
Aditya revealed that COVID-19 did speed up the process of them getting married, because in the last lockdown they used to used to have many small arguments as Aditya used to miss her a lot. He added that while they stayed close to each other, they could never meet and it was frustrating. “You want your loved ones to be near you… So that is when I had decided that after this lockdown there is going to be no further arguments regarding spending time with each other,” he said.
Talking about what he said to Shweta’s parents for the shaadi talk, Aditya revealed, “I said I don’t care how many people come, I don’t care where we do it, just give me your daughter’s hand in marriage and let's just do it. Fortunately, when we got married in December things were much better. So now that this second wave has come in, I feel like we did the right thing. Now she is here, and I never feel alone anymore.”
Aditya is the host of Indian Idol 12. Last week, Amit Kumar, son of Kishore Kumar, was invited as the special guest. He later criticised the episode. He said that he didn't like the episode even a bit and wanted it stop. While fans have been calling Indian Idol 12 the worst season ever, host Aditya Narayan has shared his reaction on Amit Kumar's harsh criticism about the Kishore Kumar special episode.
Wondering why Amit Kumar didn't express his feelings and unhappiness while shooting the episode, Aditya told Spotboye, "Amitji has graced the show on multiple occasions and has always praised our contestants as well as our team. This time also he was lavish in his praise. In fact, he was kind enough to share so many personal stories on Kishore Da and we enjoyed and cherished each one. If he wasn’t happy with certain aspects of the show he could have just told us during shoot and we would have been more than happy to try and accommodate his inputs.”
