Coronavirus is once again spreading and many are getting infected. We have heard of so many actors testing positive for COVID-19 of late. Now, the latest one to join the list is Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain's Shubhangi Atre who plays Angoori Bhabhi on the show. As per reports in ETimes, her test results have recently returned positive. In September 2020, producer Sanjay Kohli had tested positive and had quarantined himself till he was cured. Saumya Tandon's hairdresser had also tested positive before that. Post that, there were no other cases reported from the sets of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Shubhangi Atre testing positive is the first case since then. A source close to Shubhangi reveals that the actress had not been feeling well for the past few days and had taken a break from work, too.
The source revealed that she had been under the weather and had a mild cold and cough. After getting high fever, she took the RT-PCR test yesterday and her results came positive. As many television actors have tested positive, the writers of the show have to keep changing their storylines to let the episodes go on. Recently, Rupali Ganguly, who plays the lead role in Anupamaa, had tested positive. Her onscreen son, Aashish Mehrotra also tested positive. Not just him, Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj and even the producer of the show, Rajan Shahi, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Indian Idol 12 host Aditya Narayan and his wife have also tested positive for Coronavirus. He took to Instagram to share the news, writing: "Hello all! Unfortunately, my wife @shwetaagarwaljha & I have tested positive for Covid-19 & are in quarantine. Please stay safe, continue to follow protocol & do keep us in your prayers. This too shall pass ❤️"
We hope things get better soon.
